Testimonials

Below is my collection of testimonials from people I’ve been able to help!

The response to “MORE” presented by Province Mortgage Associates was tremendous. The attendees felt they were given valuable information in a time when the mortgage industry and peoples’ personal finances are confusing. I would highly recommend this program to any employer!.

Brown University’s Institute for Community Health Promotion is very pleased to include the ‘MORE’ Program of Province Mortgage Associates as a component of a worksite-based research study This study, titled WOW, Working on Wellness, implements a variety of health/wellness promotion programs at up to 24 worksites located in RI, MA and CT. The ‘MORE’ Program has been a valuable addition to the cadre of WOW programs and activities. The professional manner, knowledge and experience of Don Wilson, (Senior Mortgage Advisor) have made this program very well received by employees and employers alike. Moreover, it is particularly relevant in the current economic environment..

Don Wilson from Province Mortgage Associates and Rhonda DelSignore explained the importance of the FICO score… where & how to obtain this score. He also went over foreclosures, credit card debt, student loans, and when and why to re-mortgage, equity lines of credit and reverse mortgages. He was informative but not pushy…for anyone that was interested he did offer a free credit report.

Informative, great presentation, learned about the “behind the scenes” of the market. The who, and what of the housing market, what to look for. What is considered “good” or “bad” credit scores, refinancing, and reverse mortgages.

-Lynn

I thought Don and Rhonda did a fantastic job covering most aspects of credit scores and mortgages, and it made me aware that I need to find out my credit score on a regular basis. They also made me comfortable with future endeavors with their company for mortgage or financial needs.

-Ralph

The financial seminar was well worth attending. The speakers covered the importance of maintaining a good payment history which will in turn raise your credit score and qualify you for lower interest rates on loans and in some cases insurance as well. They also discussed the benefits of refinancing on all types of loans not just mortgages and equity loans to relieve finical stress, especially in this difficult economy

When I went to the ‘MORE’ Program I learned how different credit cards and payments effect my credit score, then how my credit score effects the different Mortgages loans I could change or get. I also learned if a reverse mortgage would be good for my parents or not. These are very important tips for the future.

Employees today are worried about their finances, and have unanswered questions about their financial health. This can lead to distraction and ultimately poor job performance. According to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, employees who are concerned about losing their homes or their financial instability will not be able to move up the “ladder” and contribute productively in the workplace. The ‘MORE’ Program empowers employees with information and is a no cost, value – added benefit for employers.

You have given many employees the incentive to take control of their finances. You were captivating during the presentation: you fostered a trusting bond between yourself and us as the potential clients.

I was preparing for a closing scheduled for tomorrow morning and wanted to let you know you were sooooo right about everything!!!! As you know, my husband wanted to go with a competitor because the numbers were so low for our monthly payment, but now the day before the closing numbers have went from $2282/ month to $2947.02!!!! My husband is so soured by the whole ordeal with that mortgage company, that he is considering getting a lawyer involved. I know you said that there was no need to feel bad for not having you handle this deal, but now, not only do I feel bad, I am ashamed and sickened that I didn’t stick with my gut instinct to follow through with you. You were very honest, thorough, and professional and unfortunately, the promises and low numbers quoted by the other company clouded our better judgment. (all I can think of right now is: if it sounds to good to be true, then it probably isn’t true at all) Things are so messed up right now, we have informed the builder of the whole ordeal and expressed our intent to withdraw from the purchase even after already incurring some upfront costs. Right now my husband is very upset but hopefully once we cool off we will be able to make a clear decision as to our future real estate plans. Regardless, I just wanted to thank you for the services and advice that you provided and hope we can do business in the future. In the mean time, feel free to share my horror story with any of your perspective customers to let them know that they can feel confident in your integrity and honesty when entrusted with handling their financial investments.
